Ansorena will hold its next auction on 12, 13 and 14 May. 

Works by outstanding artists such as: Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida, Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, Eduardo Arroyo, Oscar Domínguez, Luis Feito, Romero de Torres, Gutierrez Solana, Carmen Calvo, Equipo Crónica... and the relevant bronze sculpture by François Pompon ‘Cosette’. Along with a selection of 18th century furniture, porcelain, carpets, tapestries, silver objects, 20th century designer furniture and an important collection of antique jewellery and watches.

Fragments of Being is born out of the awareness that we are a continuous stream of ephemeral realities, intertwining and struggling to find a place and relevance in our memory. At their core, my paintings continue to suggest states of loneliness, melancholy, detachment, or an attraction to the comforting pleasures and beauty of things.
